WineKnows is a proud South Australian Company with over 20 years
experience in all things vinous. Owner/Director
Declan Foreman
has been involved in Wine retail since getting off the plane
from Ireland in 1988 having worked for
Vintage Cellars, Baily & Baily and The Edinburgh Cellars. Declan
maintains he was the first Australian Retailer on the Web in
the early 90's and who’s to argue? |
He enjoyed a
very successful career as a wine retailer assisting Baily &
Baily to such awards as Retailer of the Year on 3 occasions, the Edinburgh Cellars to the BEST Retail Outlet in Australia
and Best Retail Outlet in SA on two occasions.
With over 20 years experience in Exporting wine to trade and
private customers world wide, no shipment is too small or too
large.
Declan is
backed by a small and dynamic team who have experience in wine
exporting, marketing, websites, sales, purchasing, Judging, in fact all
aspects of the industry.

Past experience in wine retail
has included designing Wine Stores, redesigning stores to improve
traffic flow and increase sales. This experience has led to such awards as Retailer of the Year on 3 occasions, the BEST Retail Outlet in Australia
and Best Retail Outlet in South Australia on two occasions.
WineKnows knows how
best to market and promote your brand. We know the best media to use for
your store and how to make your advertising cost effective and attract
the right customer base.
WineKnows can value your stock;
be it a private Cellar or a large store. Stocktake experience
with Valuation Companies and years of retail and export experience
mean we can let you know the value of your wines in a retail
environment or on the Auction market. We are constantly looking for
older wines for clients all over the world. Email us your list

WineKnows has
been involved in the Internet since its infancy, with
international sales starting in 1994. Since then we have helped
to design, develop, update websites and build databases. We can
show you how to
design and send Newsletters using the tools you have on hand.
Having Exported wines for
over 20 years we are conversant with Taxes and Duties for most
countries. We can advise where in the world you can and cannot send wine
and how you should go
about it. We have arranged exportation of 1 to 10,000 bottles by
air and by sea to trade and private customers world wide.
We have extensive knowledge of the implications of WET and GST
on exports and imports.
Studies at Charles Sturt
University in Wagga Wagga have meant that Declan has a handle on
most issues facing a winery but our speciality is Sales and
Marketing. WineKnows Consulting has grown
dramatically in the past few years with clients as varied as
Wineries needing assistance with Sales and Marketing, Export - Imports, Liquor Store design
and assisting many private clients to track down
wines.
